Guess what? I was officially declared a NaNoWriMo winner yesterday! Or should I say, yester-midnight! It feels so great…
What do you think of my new blog design?
The old theme was pretty nice… but I thought it needed a fresh guise 😉
I hope you like it now. If you think the old one was better, I’ll consider changing. But ’til then, this diary guise is mine 😀
I just did my first blog design for an external blog. It was so much fun! I wanted to do a clean and classic design, and if you want to see it, click this link. And if you’re planning to click it, I’d love to know what you think.
I just realised that I ❤ blog designing!
I hope I’ll be doing it again sooner or later. That’ll most probably be later, so I should better get back to NaNoWriMo. There are just 4 days left! *tension attack*
Playing around with posterize.
When I posted that I had 30, it was October 13th. And now it’s November 18th. So… that is 10 followers in 36 days. Thanks, followers!
I’m 36% done with my NaNoWriMo novel… there are just 22 days left! I hope I can make it.
I’m going to award myself some chocolate for my achievement 😀
At dawn, I sat up in my bed
And questions filled my empty head.
Why in the morning did I feel cold?
It did not, I thought, in days old.
The days gone by were warm as heat
But why now was there a chill in my seat?
Why was the window wet with dew?
The sight I saw was very new.
The thick glass pane with water lined
Teased my inquisitive mind.
When the events I revised
Quite suddenly, I realised
The water drops which had me tensed
Were result of fog, condensed.
And the chill I felt everywhere
Was nothing but the Winter air.
Aloha, readers! I’m excited to be taking up NaNoWriMo this year. Here’s something you may want to be aware of.
I won’t be posting a lot this November, and probably the next few Novembers too.

I sure am excited! Wish me luck!
For a summer day’s activity
I set a stand for lemonade
In the buzzy, busy heat
Of the crowded esplanade.
But when a nice old woman
Limped over for some
I was much too excited
To know what’d come.
When she approached me
I grinned (a bit too wide)
I toppled across my stand
(It hurt) I grabbed my side.
Then I slipped on on my water
I slid stupidly on the floor
Cleaning up the mess I made
Would be much of a chore.
The irked old woman
Glared and walked away
She squashed my foot as she went
“Ow.” is all I could say. Continue reading “Hullabaloo”
I wondered in which way to sleep
For the time umpteenth
It was teeth-chattering outside the covers
And like an oven underneath.
I settled with under the blanket
And buried myself deep
And quite some time later
I was snoring loud in sleep.
And the next bright morning
I was dripping! I was wet!
I was drenched from tip to toe
By a cryptic thing that they call sweat.
The Flair Challenge is a challenge. A pretty boring way to start, I know. Click this to know more.
So basically… some friends and I have jumble up words so that there is a wacky topic to write about. And our job is to try to make sense and a story based on the topic, and we have to be as creative as we can. Here it is, if you’d like to read what I put down. I’d like some suggestions too. Hee hee, wait till you find out what the topic is…
Topic: Bricks Sleep Stupidly
Hi. My name is Brick. And I’m a brick. Well, bricks aren’t really good at naming. But otherwise, bricks are good at quite some things. They’re good at… despising themselves for being bricks. Aaugh, okay, I give up. I hate being a brick. And you know what? All bricks hate being bricks. And it ain’t surprising… bricks were made only for one reason. For those slimy-gloved builders to construct stuff. So all we bricks are no more than hardened blobs of clay and shale. I mean, who likes being that? Continue reading “The Flair Challenge #1”
